Rattlesnake Bob has been guiding bird hunts since the Chippewa
Cree Tribe first opened hunting to non-Indians in 1994. Since
that time, Rattlesnake Bob has successfully guided an average of
10 to 15 groups per year on hunts throughout the spacious
124,000 acre Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation. Most, if not all,
of our hunters were able to fill their bird tags within hours of
beginning their hunt. One of the more notable hunters that Bob
helped guide for was Bobby Knight, basketball coach of Texas
Tech University, who has come back on two other occasions.
Rattlesnake Bob’s also guides for NFL Legends each year with
notables such as Tommy Nobis and Jack Patera hunting with the
“Snake.” The Snake also guided Home Run King Dave Kingman and
Montana author Pete Fromm during the 2006 Hunt when the Snake
and his number 1 guide Gerold Parker served as the official
judges of the 2006 Legends Hunt.
Rattlesnake Bob has trained the most experienced guides to help
throughout each and every hunt.
SERVICES
- Assisting during the
hunting license purchase
- Gathering bird location
data during scouting sessions prior to any hunt
- Recommending hunting
locations and designing a strategy for success
- Assisting with dog
maintenance, i.e. watering, feeding, etc.
- Cleaning of killed birds
(at hunters request)
- Professionally handling
killed birds to insure against spoilage
- Packaging and freezing of
cleaned birds for easy transport home
- Providing one Indian style
lunch for hunts that are more than two days long
PRICING SCHEDULE

One man hunt for one day (5 hours or less) = $110.00

One man hunt for one day (over 5 hours) = $125.00

Use of one our vehicles (5 hours or less) = $40.00

Use of one of our vehicles (over 5 hours) = $60.00

Use of one English Springer Hunting dog (if requested) =
$40.00
Groups of hunters will be charged
a reduced rate as stated above if determined in advance of hunt.
Rain checks are provided in the case of increment weather.
